From 2009-10 I lived in Zilina, Slovakia, and taught English to high school students on a Fulbright Fellowship.  I hold a BA in English and Anthropology from James Madison University and an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from George Mason University. I’m currently a third-year PhD Candidate in CNF at the University of Missouri-Columbia.
